Tata Motors has officially announced that the highly-anticipated Tata Gravitas SUV will be launched before Diwali 2020.the Gravitas is based on the Harrier SUV.The company had showcased the 6-seater version of the SUV at the biennial event. At the time of the launch, the SUV will be offered in both 6- and 7-seat options.
Tata Gravitas is Harrier's seven-seater version and the pre-production model was showcased at Auto Expo 2020. The SUV will be powered by the same diesel engine that propels the five-seater SUV.
The Gravitas will continue to draw power from the same engine that propels Harrier. It is a 2.0-litre turbocharged diesel engine that makes 168 bhp and 350 Nm of peak torque. This engine comes paired to a six-speed manual gearbox as standard but buyers can also opt for the six-speed automatic gearbox.
